As the title suggests, would intel 760p nvme m.2 drives be supported as a bootable raid array on x299 chipset?

I understand that this would need the VROCISSDMOD key?

i tried two MB ROG extreme vi and prime deluxe with asus hyper 16x, intel ssd 760p, now intel is still investigating the case

Well, my package arrived one day early! VROC up and running and BOOTABLE! Here is my bench (with Crystal Disk Mark v6.0.0)

At any rate, 2x 256GB 760p Intel drives. Running great!

Currently ran on

MSI X299 Gaming Pro Carbon AC

Intel i9 7900x

32GB Gskill TridentZ RGB 3200MHZ

Windows 10 x64

HYPER M.2 X16 CARD?

Spanning drives over more than 1 VMD is not bootable, it is for storage only.

I saw the video and saw the error.

Put the drives in a hyper card, do not span vmd.

Make sure the pcie slot is set to x4x4x4x4.

Create volume.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner Birdman.

Windows desktop is visible at about 37 seconds. I auto logon at Win10 welcome screen so that saves a few seconds.

Total load with all my gadgets and my background processes in system tray to load is about 70 seconds. I think the POST test on my board is a little slower though.

I could use the MSI fast boot to speed boot time a little bit, but I like to be able to access BIOS from boot screen.

What do you think are acceptable times?

1. Did you need the Hardware key for your setup in RAID 0 bootable using 4x 760p's on hyper M.2 card?

2. Do you hit a 90 day expiration limit in Intel software?
