Hi,
I am planning to buy the new Mac mini (M4) and I already have a Thunderbolt 4 monitor Samsung Viewfinity S9.
I am looking for options to use the HDMI out from Mac mini to connect to the external display using the Thunderbolt port of the monitor.
I know I can use the thunderbolt port on the Mac mini to connect other the monitor, but given the limited no of ports are limited on Mac mini, and since I will only use one monitor, there is no other use of the HDMI port for me and wanted to leave out the thunderbolt ports on Mac mini for other peripherals.
Is it feasible to connect HDMI out to thunderbolt on the monitor?
And are there any specific cables that I can use for this purpose? The monitor is 5K @60Hz

I have never seen an HDMI-to-Thunderbolt converter. HDMI is simply not conducive to this kind of adaptation. You might want to look into a Thunderbolt Hub/Dock device.
Hope this helps,
