It's actually working. I had a similar issue with the WiFi Link 5100 card. These cards only update to driver version 14.3.2.1, which is valid for the 15.1.1.1 Proset client, but Intel missed a minor detail when testing. The problem is driver enforcement is doing as its told and looking for the driver versions it was told to look for. Someone forgot to add 14.3 as a correct driver version. You can fix it by adjusting this reg after installing the Proset 15.1.1.1 client:

HKLM\Software\Intel\Wireless\SupportedAdapters.

The one that will cause this problem is under

SHILOHADAPTER\SupportedDriverVersion

It should have the value of

"13.0.0.x;13.0.1.x;13.1.0.x;13.1.1.x;13.1.2.x;13.1.3.x;13.2.0.x;13.3.x.x;13.4.x.x;13.5.x.x;14.0.x.x;14.1.x.x;14.2.x.x;14.3.x.x"

I would like to thank John Lin from Intel who assisted me in figuring this one out.

Previously I had downgrade the driver to 14.0.x and it worked as well.

Hope this helps

Hello Jandy, thank you for your Post. Can you describe which wireless adapter, Operating System, and laptop Brand you have?

You can check which wireless adapter you in Windows* 7, you can click on the start Orb, then type "device manager" and double-click on network adapters this would list all your network adapters, we just need the name and driver version for the one that lists Intel® in its name. (to find out which driver it is running, double-click on the Intel® wireless adapter then click on the drivers tab)
