I’d like to connect this to an external amtenna, but I cannot figure our the antenna connector type. Would anyone tell me what it is?

Are you absolutely sure?

If you look at this, I am talking about the smaller one, m2 1216 version that is soldered down to the MB. (I am asking this, since I have gone through several pigtail antennas last year, none of them matched the connector)

Hi Zoltan.

Both form factors (M.2 1216 and M.2 2230) using the same IPEX MHF4 connectors (and this). Be carefull while disconnecting or reconnecting the connectors, while there are very soft and fragile.

I never had issues reconnecting the built in antennas, if the pigtail antenna connector fits, it's quite easy. So on the board the connector is male, on the pigtail is female right?

I just ordered this, and this, should any of these be good?
