Hi,

I am trying to use Ax210 module on Nvidia Jetson Xavier NX with Linux kernel 5.10. However, the driver of bluetooth is not working successfully and I have already taken more then half year to deal with this issue. I found that the usage of RAM is increased significantly.

The related logs are available:

Hello JimmyHu,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I am sorry to know that you are having issues with your Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX210 (Gig+).

In order to better assist you, please provide the following:

1. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed on your computer or did you change/install the adapter to this one?

2. Is the Wi-Fi working?

3. Run the following commands and send us the outcome

- hciconfig -a -> check the details

- hciconfig -i <interface name> up -> Enable the adapter if hciconfig shows that adapter is down

- lsusb | grep 8087 -> check if the system is identifying the adapter

- modinfo btintel -> check if bluetooth drivers are loaded

- dmesg | grep Bluetooth -> check the firmware version

- grep Bluetooth /var/log/syslog | grep -i -e "Firmware revision" -e "ibt" -> If the firmware version is not available in dmesg, then check in syslog

4. Please visit here for the latest firmware - https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git

5. Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system.

1. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed on your computer or did you change/install the adapter to this one?

---> No i replace it with ax210

2. Is the Wi-Fi working?

---> not work out of box but it worked with rename workaround then it works as it should (maximum 2.4Gbps@5GHz)

3. Run the following commands and send us the outcome

hciconfig -a --> no output

hciconfig -i <interface name> up --> what should i replace <interface name>

lsusb | grep 8087 --> sometime output this `Bus 001 Device 010: ID 8087:0032 Intel Corp.` sometime output nothing

modinfo btintel -->

Hello JimmyHu,

Thanks for the confirmation. I will proceed to check the issue internally and post back soon with more details.

As per the firmware update steps, I recommend you check with the Linux community to get the proper instructions to update the Linux operating system as our Linux support is quite limited.

Hello JimmyHu,

In this case, to proceed with the investigation I will need you to install the latest stable kernel 6.1.8, and test if the issue persists.

I recommend you check with the Linux support team so you can get the right kernel and the proper steps to install the update.

Could we try to contact with the Linux support team first and then back to this thread? Please let me know about all the concerns to upgrade to the latest stable kernel 6.1.8. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Hello leonpano,

Thanks for your response. In order to continue with the investigation, can you send one more time the report from Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU)?
