Bluetooth driver updated failed, now bluetooth is not visible in Windows 10

Hi,

I tried installing the 22.250.0.2 version through the Intel Driver & Support Assistant, but for some reason it didn't succeed. I see "Installation unknown" in the DSA page.

After the boot I don't see Bluetooth anymore in Windows 10 Device Manager and no bluetooth devices naturally work anymore. Running the Windows Bluetooth troubleshooting says that bluetooth doesn't exists in this machine.

The DSA's detailed report attached. As you can see, it doesn't mention bluetooth anymore.

I tried uninstalling the bluetooth drivers by running the installer file again, then installing the previous version 2.240.0 but nothing helped.

I have restarted the pc several times and shut down my pc and taken the power off with no help.

Any ideas what to do next?

Best regards,

-jarmo-

I got this solved by myself. I found from Windows settings that there was the older driver (2.240) still installed. I removed it, did a shut down and restart but the bluetooth didn't appear yet.

I then did a restart, went to my BIOS settings to see if there was something wrong. Everything looked fine so I didn't change anything and booted to Windows Then the bluetooth mysteriously reappeared to Windows.

No idea what caused this and what was the fix. Anyway, this case is now solved.
