I have a Lenovo U430 Touch laptop with an Intel 7260-N WiFi&BT combo running Win 8.1. I'm stuck with Bluetooth driver 17.0.1405.0464. I tried updating it to the last 2-3 versions, installation works just fine but driver version does not change even after reboot. I tried uninstalling the driver in Device Manager, repairing installation and removing the driver using Intel's driver menu, still stuck with this version. Any ideas on how to update this stubborn driver?

Hi waves,
I am sorry you are having this problem but let me help you.
I would like to know some more information about the issue you have so can you provide the following?
- If I understand correctly you are installing version 7.1.1406.01 but device manager reflects version 17.0.1405.0464? Is this correct?
- Have you tried running all windows updates?
- Is your computer running with the latest BIOS update?

Hi Waves,
Thank you for the information.
I recommend you uninstalling again completely the driver you currently have (both Wireless and BT) and the install the Wireless driver first:

The links you sent are for Windows 7 drivers and I'm running Windows 8.1. Are you sure you want me to install Win 7 drivers on Win8.1?
