We have integrated the Intel 7260H into one of our systems, and the certifcation body now asks us whether we can provide a test report for this WLAN module according to EN 300 328. Can I download this somewhere, or whom I may get in contact with to get such information?
Best regards,
Juergen

JuergenG,
Could you please be more specific on the type of test report you are looking for? Is there a particular reason for this request?
Best regards,
Aleki

Hello Aleki,
we have a system which embeds the Intel 7260H as WLAN module, and want to sell this system world-wide.
In the US this is no problem, as this WLAN module is already certified for the US. As we followed the Intel installation notes, our system now doesn't need its own FCC id, but can simply refer to the FCC id of the Intel 7260H.
Unfortunately this modular approach is not available in all countries, or has a different set of restrictions than in the US. For example in China a pre-certified module can only be used exactly at it is. As the Intel 7260H is not equipped with an antenna, the modular approach cannot be taken in China.
For these countries a whole set of radio emission tests have to be done for the system. Our test lab now told us, that a number of tests are not necessary if they could get the information from the EN 300328 test of the embedded WLAN module.
Best regards,
Juergen

JuergenG,
Please, help us to understand your inquiry a little bit better so we can put you on the right track. So you have a system that uses one of our adapters and you and your team wants the FCC ID of this adapter since your plan is to sell this system world-wide, correct?
Please, check this online documentation and let us know if this is what you are looking for: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000007443.html?wapkw=regulatory+wireless Regulatory Documents for Intel® Wireless Products once you have accessed this document, please click on "Current Adapters" to expand it and choose the Intel® Wireless 7260 Family for additional regulatory information on all the adapters of this family.

Hello Aleki,
yes, you're partially right - our system uses one of your adapters, and we want to sell it world-wide.
But FCC is an US organization, and its certifcates are not accepted world-wide. We already know the FCC ID of the adapter, and it helps us in the US. But it doesn't help us in China or other Asian countries.
We also know the Intel regulatory markings guide for the 7260 family (document intel_wireless_7260_family_regulatorymarkings_ww35.pdf), but unfortunately the information in it is not accurate. For example it somewhat indicates that there is a modular approach for China, when in fact the Intel module certificate cannot be used because the module doesn't have an integrated antenna. What could be re-used are some test reports that were already done for the radio module, therefore we would like to get the EN 300328 test report of the Intel 7260H.

JuergenG,
Thank you for your time. The Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 is compliant with the EN 300 328. This is noted in the declaration of conformity. For your convenience here is the link to it: http://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/EU_RTTE_DoC_7260HMW.pdf Declaration of Conformity. Hi Aleki,
unfortunately the certification body needs to see more than a declaration of conformity. Would it be possible to allow them access to your EN 300 328 report?
