Hello, I recently installed an Intel AC 7260 on a Lanner Electronics PC, model: LEC-7230-E21A with the operating system Windows 7 Professional.
But it tells me that the drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28) and the internet network function does not work, the bluetooth seems to have been installed on its own.
I don't have anything to help me from the manufacturer so I tried searching for the drivers on my own without success. I would need help with this please. Thank you.

Intel discontinued this adapter years ago and is no longer providing driver downloads for it. Luckily, I saw this coming and archived copies of the final driver packages that supported this (and many other) adapter. To access my archive, use this OneDrive link: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AtacZBU04mo-j-tQ34BdSDv6y1BFsg?e=7gn50T. Subfolders provide the final driver packages based upon adapter(s) covered. The subfolder you want is titled "Wireless-N 7260 and Wireless-AC 7260, 3160".

Hello Scott, I don't understand why Intel is doing this but I appreciate your good judgment and how lucky I have been to have your help.
Every once in a while one is lucky enough to be able to find a hero without a cape. I've installed the drivers you're sharing with me, and me computer is now working properly.
