Hello marcus3
Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We would be more than glad to help you with your issue.
In order to have a better understanding of your issue, please provide me with the following:
1. When did you first start experiencing these random crashes?
2. Have you made any recent hardware or software changes to your PC before these crashes started happening?
3. Can you provide more details about the crashes? For example, do they occur during specific tasks, such as gaming, browsing the web, or while the PC is idle?
4. Are there any specific error messages or codes displayed on the screen when the crashes happen, aside from Event ID 6062?
5. How frequently do these crashes occur? Are they consistent, or do they seem to happen at random intervals?
6. Have you noticed any patterns related to the crashes, such as overheating, loud fans, or unusual noises coming from your PC?
7. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own, such as updating drivers, running system diagnostics, or checking for malware or viruses?
8. Is the issue isolated to a particular application or usage scenario, or does it happen regardless of what you're doing on your PC?
9. Can you provide more information about your PC's specifications, such as the make and model, CPU, RAM, and any peripherals connected?
10. Have you checked the Windows Event Viewer for additional error messages or events that might be related to these crashes?
11. Are you using any third-party security software or utilities that might be affecting system stability?
12. Have you tried using your PC with a wired network connection to see if the issue persists when not using the Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9260 160MHz adapter?
13. What troubleshooting steps have you tried to resolve this issue?
Furthermore, as we examine the SSU report, it becomes evident that your system lacks the most up-to-date BIOS version. To address this, we recommend considering the installation of the latest BIOS. However, we strongly advise reaching out to the motherboard manufacturer for guidance in this regard.
BIOS installed: 4802 (2023/07/17), ALASKA – 1072009/ Latest: 4805 (2023/09/04)

thanks for replying
1. When I first built my PC
2. No
3. They mostly happen when I'm playing games, but they can sometimes happen when I'm in the web browser.
4. Some of the pixels when I was playing the game stay there or sometimes my screen goes black.
5. When I'm playing certain games they happen consistently and sometimes it's at random.
6. I have not
7. Yes
8. I am pretty sure it's a usage scenario because it mostly almost all of the time when I'm playing games and when I'm in the web browser I have Spotify open or other apps when the crashes happen but if I just have the web browser open it doesn't crash.
9. I have a Ryzen 9 5900x , 16 gbs of ddr4 RAM from Corsair, I have a Corsair keyboard, a wireless headset from PDP, and a cyberpunk mouse. Also, I built the PC and the motherboard is an Asus Rog Strict B550-F gaming wifi.
10. The only other thing is distributedcom and that's it.
11. Im using Driver Booster and IObit software updater
12. no I have not but I will right now and give feedback
13. I just tried wifi troubleshooter and that's it.
I will update bios today

Dear Marcus3,
I appreciate your prompt response.
After reviewing the information provided, it has become evident that the root cause of the issues you're experiencing appears to be primarily related to your graphics or GPU rather than wireless connectivity. This assessment is based on the following observations:
Crashes During Gaming: The consistent occurrence of crashes while playing games strongly suggests that your GPU may be encountering difficulties with handling demanding graphics processing tasks. This is a common indicator of graphics-related issues.
Screen Artifacts and Black Screen: The description of pixels remaining on the screen and the screen going black align with classic symptoms of graphics problems. These issues can arise from factors such as GPU overheating, outdated graphics drivers, or potentially faulty hardware.
Graphics Driver Updates: It's advisable to ensure that all your drivers, including those for graphics, Ethernet, and wireless, are up to date. Updating your graphics driver is a standard troubleshooting step for addressing graphics-related problems. Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can contribute to system instability.
No Specific Wireless-Related Errors: Although you mentioned the Event ID 6062 error related to a network adapter, it doesn't directly point to a wireless issue. The crashes appear to be more closely associated with gaming and graphics-intensive tasks.
While it's conceivable that wireless drivers or network-related issues could play a role in overall system stability, the symptoms and information provided lean toward a primary concern related to graphics. Therefore, I recommend reaching out to AMD or Nvidia, as they are the appropriate entities to address and resolve graphics-related issues effectively.
As this thread pertains to AMD or Nvidia concerns, we will now close it. Should you require further assistance or have additional questions, please don't hesitate to create a new inquiry, as this thread will no longer be actively monitored.
Best regards,
Isaac Q.
