ICPS Driver fails to install.

Hi. I recently bought an Asus Vivobook Flip 16 laptop, which works on the Core Ultra 2 platform. While updating the drivers using DSA, the ICPS one shows me a message saying the driver "may have not installed succesfully" and in DSA indeed it says it failed. I would like to know how to proceed. Thanks!

Attached are my laptop specs and the message that pops when the install finishes.

Hello Armandruzz,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.

  1. May I know why are you updating the driver? Are you having issues with the wireless controller?
  2. Did you just use the Intel DSA to update the driver?
  3. Have you also tried to install the OEM driver or the driver provided by the manufacturer of your system which is Asus?
  4. Did you manually install the wireless controller as an upgrade or is it embedded in the system?
  5. For me to review the hardware and the installed drivers. Please help generate the SSU logs of the system Kindly refer to the link below on how to generate the logs:

Hi! Yes. Sorry.

To answer your questions...

1. I updated because DSA told me an update was available. I update my systems everytime its possible.

2. Already tried through DSA and with the installer.

3. Yes, but after that DSA tells me there's this update available.

4. It's part of the notebook by default. It's an intel Evo system.

5. Attaching DSA logs.

Hello Armandruzz,

Thank you for the update.

Before we proceed, let me set the expectation that you are using an OEM system form a 3rd party manufacturer. Our support is limited since it is using 3rd party components. If our recommendations did not work, it is also best to contact the manufacturer of the system.

Please try to perform clean driver installation. Kindly refer to the link below for the steps and the link of Intel generic driver:
