Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160

I purchased the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 (3160.HMWG.R) to replace my card in my Toshiba L675D-S7060. I have the drivers installed and the card will not turn on. Fn +F8 does not cut in on, I do not have a swtch or button to turn it on. Is there anyway in the Proset software or another way I have not tried?

Thanks in advance

Haligan,

Before we go any further, we would like to inform you that Intel does not support integration which is when the original wireless adapter is replaced by another one. Please check this link for further information on this matter: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005687.html?wapkw=regulatory+information+regarding+hardware+installation Regulatory Information Regarding Hardware Installation or Upgrade for...

The issue reported may be related to the voltage, we strongly recommend to contact TOSHIBA* as they are the only ones who can provide a list of Intel® Wireless Adapters that are fully compatible with your system. You can find their contact information by accessing this link: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/OEMs.html Computer Manufacturer Support Websites

On our best effort to assist you, here are some tips that might help you:

1. Make sure all previous drivers are clean uninstalled before installing Intel® drivers. Please understand that the drivers found in our download center are generic and may not be fully compatible with your system.

2. Make the wireless adapter is properly connected.

3. Check Power Option.

4. Update your system if necessary
