So is the original issue discussed in this thread thought to have been resolved from Intel's perspective, Carlos?

Hi Diego,
I followed all the instructions and it still didn't work. I have not tried Safe Mode w/Networking yet. I'm pretty much ready to give up at this point. Sounds like you guys don't have many / any customers with this issue and that no one really knows why this isn't working.
It is especially disappointing as the issue began after a software change on the machine tied to a new driver release. There's something unintended that happened but I suppose not enough people have continued to experience to warrant further actual investigation by your driver team.
Anyway, unless you have something meaningful for me to try I think we can just let this thread die.

Hi Jcray,
Can you try to update your system BIOS? if that doesn't help can you try to reinstall your system OS?

If you do a fresh install of your OS which can't hurt. After I did everything works better. I suggest disconnecting your internet so updates can not install anything. Gather all your latest drivers and put them on a flash drive. Did you run the trouble shoot under network and sharing center in control panel? Also update your BIOS to latest available if you have not done so already.

Hi, I'm in the same problem as Vruss.
let me explain: HP Steam Laptop 14-ax0XX PC,
with Windows 10 home 1703 (build 15063.1418)
network card: Intel (r) Dual Band Wireless - AC 7265 (driver 19.51.12.3).
the PC sees only some of the wifi networks present, except mine. Can you help me?

If you have a 7265-C, the final driver package supporting it is 21.10.1, which provides driver 19.51.21.1.
If you have a 7265-D, the final driver package supporting it is 23.40.0, which provides driver 19.51.50.2.
Regardless of which you have, the driver you have installed, 19.51.12.3, is down-rev. and needs to be upgraded. You need at least driver 19.51.21.1 to be able to interoperate with WiFi 6 or newer routers.
I have the final driver packages for most of the discontinued wireless adapters in my archive and have put a copy of this folder structure into a OneDrive share. Use this link: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AtacZBU04mo-j-tQ34BdSDv6y1BFsg?e=7gn50T to access this share. Subfolders provide final driver packages for most of the discontinued wireless adapters; their names indicated what adapters they pertain to.
Hope this helps,

Hello n_scott_pearson
I have come across this thread while trying to work out why my Dell Latitude E7440 laptop (a dinosaur I know but it has worked well for me so far, apart from the issue I'm about to ask your advice on) won't pick up a wifi signal that I know is available (I can pick it up on my phone)
Your answer from a few days ago is the first one that leads me to believe that what I suspect is happening is the cause.
Anyways......my laptop is running with Windows 10 pro and has Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 driver installed.
I can't tell you what the router details are at the moment as I'm in the library so that I can use the internet here, however I believe that it is a fairly recent one and what I'm wondering is it is possible that this is why neither of the 2 signals that the router is putting out are visible to my laptop?
And if this is the case is there any way that I can resolve this so that I can use this laptop to connect to this router.
Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

In your case, you need to make sure that you have the 21.10.1 package installed and that driver 19.51.21.1 was installed. This is the only driver release that included the fix for the WiFi 6 Router issue.
...S
P.S. Note that, if you have a later version of the package installed, you must manually uninstall this version before installing the 21.10.1 package.

Thanks you @n_scott_pearson . When I looked at the Intel website I found a page where there were driver fixes for the WiFi6 router issues, from reading through it though I got the impression that as the particular driver I had has been discontinued and is no longer supported that there was no fix for it. I will go back and have another look now that you have given me the details of the particular package I need and see if I'm able to install it.
Much thanks
Bronwyn

There have been lots of users who have installed this last release and solved their WiFi6 problems.
Where's this page that you're referring to?

This is the page I was referring to
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000054799/wireless.html
........on reading it again just now, it may be that I have misinterpreted these lines
"1Support options for the Intel Wireless 7265(Rev C), 7260 and AC-3160 can be found here. Please note these products are EOL (End-of-Life) and driver is no longer be available for download"
to mean that there is no help to fix the issue rather than simply that the AC7260 driver is no longer available.
Again, your perspective and advice on this would be greatly appreciated.......in the meantime I will check out the folder of final driver packages that you generously shared a link to in a previous post a few days ago when I finish work this afternoon and can access the internet at a faster speed than the snail's pace I have where I currently live

@n_scott_pearsonthank you so much for your help and posting the link to your folder of archived driver updates. Today I installed the version you said I needed, along with the bluetooth upgrade, and it worked a treat. I'm so happy that I can now use the internet at home without going to sleep while waiting for things to load

Yea, that page is basically telling you that you need that final release to interoperate with WiFi 6 routers. How nice of them to keep the telling you all about this but then pulling down the downloads once the adapters were discontinued. :^(

I have a different, but related, problem now. Every time I connect to the internet via wifi I get a pop up box from Intel Active Management Technology Profile Synchronization that asks me if I would like to synchronize this profile with it.
It doesn't matter whether I click 'yes' or 'no' it pops up every time I connect to the wifi signal, in fact sometimes it appears as though it's the pop up box that is disconnecting me from the wifi
It is really annoying and I'd like to know if there anyway I can stop it from popping up all the time.
I've had a look at the program and can't find anywhere I can turn it off. I've also searched online to find a solution to the problem and it seems that many people have this problem and so far the only solution that I've found is to uninstall the program.
If I uninstall this program will that mean that I'm back to my original problem of not being able to see the wifi6 signals?
Thanks in advance for your assistance on this matter.
