Which of the two series is best for long range in a 12th gen Intel laptop? Internet browsing and audio/video Skype calls.

I am aware that 2.4Ghz has a longer range than 5/6Ghz. Is the 2.4Ghz latency the same between the following two series?

While there are differences in the firmware utilized, the hardware is identical and the latency should be the same.

Any idea why the retail price for an AX1690(AX411.NGWG.NVX) is 30%($10) more than AX411(AX411.NGWG.NV)? Do the firmware tweaks justify the price?

For the killer cards, they publish and maintain the Killer Software, so maybe that's the main reason or one of the reasons why the difference in price... For a regular user, I don't see the point of going with the killer one if you don't want to spend "that extra money"
