Yesterday my very old Dell laptop with Windows XP worked and connected to the internet.
Installed a new router yesterday. (due to fiber optic upgrade in my area)
Router Network is detected w/ security enabled.
Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup Wizard, I can select the network and input my password.
It will retrieve my wireless settings w/ Network Name, Security Type and I update the Password to new one . . . click Next
Tells me "Configuration in Progess" with blue bar growing -
Then . . . I get this . . .
Wi-Fi Protected Setup Wizard - give this message - "Failed to get the wireless settings, Configuration Failed"
Any ideas on what to do???
I've looked online (on desktop computer) and can't remedy the situation . . .
Frustrated and would greatly welcome YOUR HELP!
