Intel NUC Unit D54250WYKH
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 - Network adapter with Bluetooth
Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit
I bought a Microsoft bluetooth Wedge mouse and keyboard. They both paired and worked fine with the NUC the first time I used them. After a few hours I restarted the machine and from then on they have both failed to be recognised when I try and add a device. I have tried both BT_3.1.1311_e164 and BT_17.0.1401.03_e164 Intel drivers and I have not managed to get it to recognise the keyboard, mouse or mobile phone. These things are all recognised by another bluetooth computer i have. Strangely the Intel Driver Update utility keeps telling me there is a newer driver available even after i update.
How can I recognise the bluetooth devices Intel?
Thanks
Things I have tried:
Full power down
Taking out SSD and Network card
Disable bluetooth, run services.msc and restart
Bios update

Hello Neilshahlimited, I am sorry to hear you are having problems with your system.
It seems like you already performed most of the troubleshooting we requested to customers.
I would like to know which the current BIOS version of the NUC is and which was the previous one?
I'm going to make some tests on my NUC. I'll keep you posted.

Hi neilshahlimited,
Can you please provide your dxdiag report here?
How to get it?
Dxdiag Report: Type dxdiag in Start Menu> open> Save> Attach using Advanced Editor Options.
Can you also provide the Wireless driver and Bluetooth driver version your system is running?

I'd recommend using the driver from here http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/24191/eng/BT_17.1.1406.01_e164.exe&Lang=eng&Dwnldid=24191 BT_17.1.1406.01_e164.exe
1. uninstall current driver
2. Cold boot (important step)
3. Install the above driver
This could be reconnection issue. This particular mouse disconnects on idle.

You should pair the devices only once
