Intel pro/wireless 3945ABG network connection

I updated my old notebook to run with Win10 and got surprised that everything was running well except the wireless connection. Before this problem the OS was Win7 enterprise.

Installed in the note I have an Intel Pro/wireless 3945ABG. When I turn on the note I cannot get a direct and automatic connection but accessing the Devices Manager and doing a manual operation of disabling and enabling it starts working correctly.

I know that this is a old and discontinnued Intel part but would be great to hear from you if there is a way to fix it (driver update, hardware adjust, others).

Unfortunately, the Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection is not supported on Windows*10 and we have no information if this will change in the future. You may contact Microsoft* and check if they have any solution or workaround that might help you.
