Intel wifi update fault

Trying to load May 16 centrino update fails with error and disables my driver so no internet connection possible. Why is update faulty. In order to use hp laptop I must restore system to earlier date and current wifi driver works again! But without loading windows update???

Hello boblv,

As we understand, you system is not able to update the wireless adapter driver.

For Laptop PC's you should obtain the driver from the http://www.intel.com/support/oems.htm PC manufacturer support as first option. In some cases, the OEMs may have customized the driver, or the adapter in the PC, so the manufacturer driver will be the best option.

If you require additional assistance, let us now the following: PC model, Operating System, wireless adapter model, driver shown in device manager, driver version you are attempting to install, also the link you are using to the download the driver.
