I have exactly the same problem

I am running Windows 10 Pro, 0.0.19045 build 19045

(1) YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO INSTALL VISUAL STUDIO.
IF YOU TRY TO INSTALL THIS KIT ON A FACTORY FRESH W10 64 SYSTEM THE SAME HANG HAPPENS.

Makes me wonder what testing was done.

(2) I have done a reset-to-factory, and a fresh installed of VS 2019  with Python and Desktop C++

Visual Studio was NOT run

I then run w_BaseKit_p_2023.0.0.25940 online installer and after a couple of screens it puts up a large white rectangle and does nothing

Nothing Nothing NOTHING else is installed and nothing has been installed twice

I am stunned.

When I first saw your reply I thought it was so far out in left field that it couldn't possibly be right - but I put my qualms aside,   shut down the VMWare 16 system, turned off the 3D Accel, rebooted, tried to install OneAPI 2022 - and it sailed right through the previous problem and charged right into the full install without a hiccup.

Kudos to whoever figured this out.

Bad thoughts about the person who thought that making the initialization of the installation of performance libraries be sensitive to 3D Graphics acceleration was a good idea.   If you build overly complicated products, they will fail in all kinds of whacky ways.

Hi Bevin, this could be an issue with the Graphics driver for the display. Could you turn off the 3D enhancements and proceed with the installation again?

We would like to know.
