Hi! I have a problem with Simulink when I create a New Model: I haven't a "DSP Builder" menu where I could use the New Model Wizard and other options. I think I have installed all the programs correctly and I launch Matlab from the DSP Builder selection under the windows start menu. I don't know why this problem is happening.
Thank you for your helpLink Copied

Are there any warning messages in the MATLAB window after you click DSP Builder->Start in MATLAB Rxxxx?
Type "path" to see if there are any references to the location where you installed Quartus/DSP Builder.- Mark as New

There isn't any warning message. When I type "path" i can see some references to the location where I installed Quartus/DSP Builder. Here I write them:

Ok, can you also try:
which -all sl_customization
javaclasspath -dynamic
The first command will list all the Simulink customization files including the one for DSP Builder, so again there should be one file under your c:\altera\12.1\quartus directory. The second command will show if the DSP Builder java files are on the class path. Finally can you try typing the following after creating a new model (called untitled by default): dspba.NewModelWizardLaunch('untitled')
This should launch the new model wizard from the command line.

When I type the first one I have one file:
--- Quote Start --- C:\altera\12.1\quartus\dspba\Blocksets\BaseBlocks\sl_customization.p --- Quote End --- But it hasn't any text after that. The other files in Matlab directory have "% Shadowed" after them. When I type the second one, I get three files: --- Quote Start --- C:\altera\12.1\quartus\dsp_builder\bin\dspb_sblocks.jar C:\altera\12.1\quartus\dspba\dspba_c o c kpit\dspba_c o c kpit.jar C:\altera\12.1\quartus\sopc_builder\model\lib\com.altera.systemconsole.matlabapi.jar --- Quote End --- The spaces between c o c k doesn't really exist. I have put them because of the asterisks that appear if I put them together. And, finally, when I type the third code, that's what I get: --- Quote Start --- Invalid Simulink object name: untitled. ans = 0 --- Quote End ---- Mark as New

Everything looks fine with your installation so I can't really understand why the menu is not appearing. Have you tried running any of the demo designs to see if the rest of DSP Builder works?
The error you get for the third code sounds like you didn't create a new model (or you saved it and so its name is not untitled).- Mark as New

Well, I have executed the third code without opening a new model in Simulink, sorry. If I execute that code now, I obtain the window that I should obtain. But, what I have to do if I want to execute another option from the DSPBuilder menu?
Thank you very much for your help and sorry if I make some silly questions but I am starting on DSP Builder and sometimes I find me lost. Thank you- Mark as New

Nothing silly about your questions. Unfortunately I'm running our of answers. Here's one last go:
sl_refresh_customizations
This should force Simulink to reload the customization files.
