MACsec Intel® FPGA IP

I am conducting research on the MACsec protocol and have come across Intel's FPGA offerings. I'm curious about the SADB (Security Association Database) storage in this IP core. Is the data kept in Control and Status Registers (CSR) or is it stored in some form of RAM?
