PCIe interface with Nios II

Hi,

I am still struggling to create a system with a Nios II processor and a PCIe core to transfer data from the Nios to other components in the computer such as the main system RAM.

I am using a Bittware PCIe card with a Stratix V FPGA. There are some examples out there that use the Stratix V hard IP for PCI Express but don't show what I would like it to do.

How would one map the different devices in a computer to the PCIe core so that I could write a Nios C program to transfer data easily to them over PCI express. For example, I would like to be able to pass data from a Nios program to the computer's RAM or other external components in the computer through the PCIe core but can't see any examples how to do this. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul
