What is the order of coefficients in a reloadable FIR II v16.0 IP?

Using Quartus II Standard v18.0, a FIR II IP core was generated with reloadable, symmetrical coefficients. I can only find User Guide for v16.0 - is this the correct documentation version?

I can load half the coefficients, and assume symmetry. Which address holds the center tap? Are the coefficients in address order? Previous FIR IP had out of order coefficient addressing.

Hi David, As I understand it, you have some inquiries related to the FIR II. Yes, you are right, the latest UG is dated 2016.05.01 which I believe is the v16.0 that you are referring. However, you can still refer to it for the Q18.0 Std, sorry for the inconvenience. As for the symmetry coeff reload, for example, a 37-tap symmetrical filter would require only 19 register, the enter tap would be address 18 (start with 0).
