count missing cell that cause Questa error out

Hello folks,

I have a question for you.

  1. When I use Questa software, I count an error message as following as:

# ** Error: ./../../../ip/altera_ip/asmi/asmi_parallel_epcs16_standard/simulation/submodules/asmi_parallel_epcs16_standard_asmi_parallel_0.v(406): Module 'cyclone_asmiblock' is not defined.

  1. after I search your Altera all files, I found inc file located at  “$altera_root_dir/quartus/libraries/megafunctions/cyclone_asmiblock.inc”.  However, I did not see any .db or .v or .sv or. vhd file in any directories, so I get lost how to let Questa to know what cell features will be; then, the simulation will be wrong. As a result, I open a mentor case  SR 3538732571, and I got a suggestion to check from Altera simulation library.
  2. based on search result at link:  https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/support/support-resources/design-examples/design-software/simulation/modelsim/simulation-manual-howto.html. I follow the steps: File -> New-> library. However I did not find "library" from pull-down menu  in Quartus II.
  3.  I also search path at /c/intelFPGA/18.1/quartus/eda/sim_lib/mentor directory, but I did not find any cell for cyclone_asmiblock.* How to bypass this issue?

Thanks,

-Fred
