I start with the "Quick Start Guide - Verify Basic Operation". I see no text on the display and the red LED D17 flash configuration fails is on.

On the UART J10 I see:

Our DHCP Server is running. But I can't ping the board. We put the mac adress in the Server what I found with the BoardTestSystem.exe.

What else can I do to get the board up?

Hi, here is a link for you to refer to try and boot from SD card image and use it to boot Linux on the Altera Arria 10 SoC Development board:

https://rocketboards.org/foswiki/Documentation/A10SGMIIRDBootLinuxFromSDCardLTS

Prior to that, to create the SD Card image please refer to the link:

Let me know if you encounter any problems.

Hi, now the board starts with the QSPI_TPBGA Card instead of the sd card. It gets an IP from the DHCP Server. I have to put in U-Boot the mac adress with setenv. Or I can start the board with the NANDX8 card. But here I can't use setenv so I don't get an IP from the DHCP Server. When I start the board with the QSPI-TPBGA card successfully I can't use "Interaction with" in the webserver because I can't see the pticture with the board where I can do something. I tested it with Firefox and Internet Explorer on windows 10.

Hi,

May I know the specs for both the QSPI_TPBGA and the SD card?

There might be a compatible issue with the SD card that leads to the board starting with the QSPI_TPBGA Card instead of the SD card, we recommend that you use the flash devices that is Known-to-Work with the Arria 10 SoC;

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/support/support-resources/supported-flash-devices-for-arria-10-soc.html

If the QSPI_TPBGA is Known-to-Work, then please verify the steps to boot the Arria 10 board using QSPI:

https://rocketboards.org/foswiki/Documentation/A10GsrdQspiBootLTS

But, if you want to boot the board with the NAND card, its fine too, here is the link that could help you;

https://rocketboards.org/foswiki/Documentation/A10GsrdNandBootLTS

Prior to that you still need to check if the NAND device is compatible with the Arria 10 SoC via the first link.

If you can share the specification of your cards and that it is Known-to-Work with the Arria 10 SoC, I can check if there is an Example Design that could help you.

Let me know if you encounter any problems.

Hi,

I use the cards witch comes with the Arria 10 SoC Development Kit. I have to plug off the SD card modul with the s/N P/N 17050039-0311 from J23 und plug instead the QSPI-TPBGA modul S/N 6xx-44334R-0A P/N 17050037-0297. Maybe the sd card is broken. I will get a new one. Where I can find an image for my SD card modul?

Regards

Kai
