Black screen after installing 8.15.10.2086

Add me to the list of people who get a black screen....

HP G60t-200CTO

Windows 7 64 bit.

I uninstalled the previous intel driver (8.15.10.1986) and installed 8.15.10.2086.. and got a black screan... grrr... Other older intel drivers have worked just fine so I don't agree that it's a special vendor bios issue.

oohh and btw the displaying error has changed..

DISPLAY DRIVER STOPPED RESPONDING AND HAS RECOVERED

DISPLAY DRIVER INTEL GRAPHICS ACCELERATOR DRIVERS FOR WINDOWS XP(R) STOPPED RESPONDING AND HAS SUCCESFULLY RECOVERED..

before it was saying FOR WINDOWS VISTA..

now it says for xp.

Yes,, uninstall the lastest driver from Intel Download Center and install the driver from ACER.

same problem robert,

the only difference is the displaying error:

''DISPLAY DRIVER STOPPED RESPONDING AND HAS RECOVERED

DISPLAY DRIVER INTEL GRAPHICS ACCELERATOR DRIVERS FOR WINDOWS XP(R) STOPPED RESPONDING AND HAS SUCCESFULLY RECOVERED''

now instead of XP it says 7..

There is definitely an issue with your system that cannot be debugged in this forum. Have you contacted ACER? Do you have ACER recovery disks? If you do and they do not resolve the issue then there is a possibility you have a hardware issue. I would suggest trying the ACER recovery process and if that does not work the I would suggest contacting ACER Support.

I do not know of a forum for ACER Extensa. I would suggest a Google search for ACER Extensa Support Forum.
