I have a desktop with core i3 3220 with an integrated Intel HD 2500 graphics. I was thinking of buying a discrete graphics card to use instead of the HD 2500 So, can I disable the HD 2500 and get a new graphics to install?

Hi Flash500,
In fact you can use a discrete graphics card on your system. As soon as you connect a PCIe video card on your motherboard, the onboard graphics will be automatically disabled.
