I am having compatability issues with the following: Intel DH55HC MB, I5-750, and EVGA GeForce GTS250 video card. THe video card constantly shuts down and gives this error message:
"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered. Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernal Driver 260.63 stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
I am running Windows 7 64, I have all the latest upgrades for the pc and the video card.
Is there a fix, diagnostic program, or any suggestions for getting this resolved?
Thank You, in advance, for any assistance.

I would suggest you contact either EVGA or NVIDIA, or try other driver versions, or even a 32 bit OS. It would appear to be down to teh driver tehrefore you would need to contact teh driver developer.

I have been in contact with NVidia support, they say it is an issue with Intel board. Same old thing, 1 company pointing a finger at some other company, and vica versa. Still no solution to the problem

Same board, NVidia GeForce 9600 GT, I refuse to update nvidia drivers now. Win 7 Home Pre. ALWAYS having problems, use drivers from CD (DeviceMgr lists this as NVIDIA May,2009 _ ver. 8.15.11.8593 ) no more bsod or problems. I'm finding updating isn't always the answer. Updated bios on DH55HC, no more TV tuner.

Thank you for the advice. I will try searching backwards and try some other drivers. I have tried four other drivers so far, trying more is not a problem. Just want to be able to use my new PC for what it was built for. And I will also relay this information to Nvidia.
