Download, run, and save the results of this utility as a text file:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility

Then ATTACH the text file (using the paperclip under the toolbar).

I think you need to turn off Adaptive Brightness. See this article for more information: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000033837/graphics.html.

Hope this helps,

My laptop doesn't have Adaptive Brightness. I believe is the graphic drive, because with the native windows driver this error doesn't happen.

But the native windows driver doesn't have all the functionalities.

Sorry, I got nothing further. Unless someone else has some ideas, I suggest that you play with the settings in the Intel Graphics Command Center app and see if any of the features is causing this.

Hello NPasq,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

I would like to confirm if you are still facing this behavior or if you were able to get this Adaptive Brightness feature working? If not, please provide the following:

  1. Did this feature work before? If yes, do you remember making any changes before this started?
  2. Have you tried consulting with Acer to see if this feature is supported on this system?
  3. Please provide the following:

A. DXDIAG report

  • Go to Start > Run or Windows Key + R.
  • On the Run prompt, type "dxdiag" then click OK.
  • On the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window, click on Save All Information.
  • Browse to a folder, type in a filename then click Save.

B. Intel® Graphics Command Center report:

  • Press the Windows key.
  • Write "Intel® Graphics Command Center".
  • Go to the "Support" tab.
  • Go to the "System Diagnostic" tab.
  • Press "Generate report".
  • Save the report in a .txt file and send it to us.

Regards,
