Despite multiple attempts, the NPU driver uploaded on July 23 continues to fail to install. The error code displayed is 1000.
My system is running Windows 11 x64 with a U9 275HX processor.
According to the installation logs, the failure appears to be caused by a conflict with Windows Update.
Even when I disable Windows Update and attempt an OEM-style installation in a disconnected environment (no internet access), the issue persists.
I would appreciate it if you could either advise on how to resolve this issue or provide a new version of the driver that can be installed without conflicting with Windows.
Thank you.

Same issue on my LG Laptop. I guess we wait until Intel support fixes the issue.

Same problem here.
Asus Vivobook Pro 15, intel core Ultra 9.
In addition, the following driver does not get installed from Windows Update: Intel Corporation - Extension - 32.0.101.6734 (Install error - 0x80070103)
I've also tried "execute a clean installation" but the problem persists.

I get the same issue...But I don't have an NPU. I don't know why it wants to install it on my computer. Maybe that is what error 1000 is: No NPU found?? 😁
I am curious. Are any of the folks having the error 1000 issue know for sure that they have an NPU?

It seems that installing it has no effect on CPUs older than the 14th generation. Which generation are you using?

Hello Shanks1,
Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.
I understand that you're experiencing installation issues with NPU driver.
To further troubleshoot the issue, kindly try to download the driver manually here -Intel® NPU Driver - Windows* and let me know if the same issue will persist.
Furthermore, kindly share the information below for us to investigate further.
1. Which browser is being used?
2. Are there any proxy settings?
3. What security software are you using?
4. Do you have any browser plug-ins installed?
I look forward to your response.
Best regards

Hi Jedg, did you read all the comments? Did you see the attached image of the first poster? and does your question make any sense? Please think! WE ALL HAVE THE SAME ERROR AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE THAT WE ALL HAVE THE SAME BROWSER, SAME PROXY OR SAME ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE!!! HAVE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE ASKING?
