The Last of Us Part 2 problem on Intel Iris Xe

I came to report a problem that happens in The Last of Us Part 2,  red textures, the same thing that happened with Spider Man 2, but this time we may have a solution, since the video in the link below shows the game being rendered correctly on the Intel Iris Xe igpu with an old version of the driver

https://youtu.be/_rr4mB73QWE?si=o_hrOpVmTUEdaE2v

but as it is an old and not very stable version, there are many crashes and other performance problems, since with this driver FSR 3 and frame generation cannot be activated, so it would be good to have a more recent driver that renders the game correctly and perhaps brings better performance, I know that Iris xe does not meet the minimum requirements to run the game, but they could do the minimum to fix this, since 30 fps is playable for many people and perhaps doing this would fix Spider Man 2 in one fell swoop.

Hi viituuu,

I wanted to inform you that the IrisXE graphics card does not meet the minimum system requirements for this game. Typically, addressing such compatibility issues involves collaboration with the game developer, who generally does not provide support if the minimum requirements are not met.

Unfortunately, this means we are unable to resolve the issues related to the game when the necessary specifications are not fulfilled. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding in this matter.

If you need further assistance, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Best regards,

Hello archie, as i stated in the discussion you can see here https://community.intel.com/t5/Graphics/The-Last-of-Us-Part-2/m-p/1680283/thread-id/140693, the problem is not within the mininum specs but the rendering of the game. I have been testing it with high contrast mode (in accessibility options within the game) and it is playable. I hope you can solve whatever driver issue is causing this problem, and give us a solution to all iris xe players.

I attached here a screen capture of the game running on high contrast mode, with the last driver available for iris xe. The game performs even a little better than part 1. Sooo please help us with this, it is clearly a driver problem.
