Greetings everyone!
We have officially launched our latest driver supporting 3rd and 4th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD/Iris™ Graphics for Microsoft* Windows 7, 8, & 8.1. The version is 3345 and is available at the following locations.
32-bit: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23406 Download Center - Release notes http://downloadmirror.intel.com/23406/eng/ReleaseNotes_GFX_3345_32.pdf here.
64-bit: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23405 Download Center - Release notes http://downloadmirror.intel.com/23405/eng/ReleaseNotes_GFX_3345_64.pdf here.
Also; http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033838.htm Windows* 8/8.1 Graphics FAQ.
Please provide only constructive feedback here. Harassing comments, needless insults and personal attacks are not permitted, and will be promptly deleted.
If there are issues that carried over from previous drivers that you are still experiencing, feel free to announce them again here. However, we are all mostly aware of some of these, so I will list them here;
NEW: The driver reports that you have support for DX11.2. This is incorrect, you have support for DX11.1.
CURRENT:
- Users with 3rd party cards installed alongside Intel graphics are experiencing various degrees of Code 31 and Code 43 issues. These are being actively investigated, and we are working with 3rd party vendors to resolve them. The latest we are aware of is that AMD* drivers are force-unloading our drivers, resulting in various issues such as loss of multiple-displays, brightness controls, etc.
- Users with only Intel graphics are experiencing various degrees of Code 31 and Code 43 issues. These are being actively investigated, and we are working with Microsoft* to resolve them.
- Users are having Display Audio failures either over an AV/R, or via a straight through connection to their audio enabled display. For starters, you need to uninstall the 3316 or later driver from your system, and install the one we provide via the Intel Download Center links posted above. When you receive a graphics driver automatically via Windows* Update, it does not include the Display Audio driver that is supposed to be packaged with it. This can result in unstable audio errors.
if I have missed any, it is not because we are not aware of them! However, please feel free to remind me of them regardless.
If you are having trouble with installing the driver, it can be for various reasons. Most commonly, it is because your system currently has a driver that was installed by your OEM, and those drivers present various error messages to the effect of "this driver is not suitable for your computer because your OEM said so!". If that is the case, you should follow the http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022355.htm Manual Driver Installation instructions to install your driver (this is prefaced by downloading the .ZIP version of the driver from the links above).
I ask that you preface the feedback with a bolded heading so that it will be easier to identify, example: Control Panel: It would be cool if X was added. BUG: This application is now crashing and it didn't with the last driver!
I also ask that you keep focused on this specific driver. Any off-topic/off-driver/off-product comments will be promptly deleted! If you have any issues with installing the driver, or ...

Nic LOL, yea just saw the invitation and added you thanks.
The reason you don't see any players in the multiplayer it's because of the region you are set on.
Go and change the region in two places:
1. In Windows - Control panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Region > Location = change to "United Kingdom".
2. In Steam - Steam ("file") > Settings > Downloads > Download Region = change to "UK - London".
Then give it a try run the game and see if there are players in the match-making lobby.
It may work to you on some games even there is a black screen mostly in games where there are up to 4 players, but as you can see in my video trying to play in a 9 players game and that what you will get.

@deSiem: Thanks for the link. Sorry I didn't ask for this before - but can you give me a detailed list of steps to follow to reproduce the issue you're seeing?
@Gil.Goldshlager: I just ran through two rounds in the match making mode as you stated. I got my butt kicked thrice because I have no idea what to do other than accelerate and turn.. Anyways, I did not have any issue with connecting to the game, or seeing the black screen. I tested on both Win8 as well as Win8.1. Perhaps the connection error you are experiencing is due to your location/ISP?
Thanks,

Yes Nic, a network error can definitely cause by a bad connection of course.
But as you can see in the video the issue is with that black screen.
I just tried to play the game (regular locally) with no internet connection and with both any antivirus and firewall turned off, and still got the black screen as shows in my *first* video.
Here's my log file for running a local game with a black screen,
I don't understand any of this but there are lots of errors there:

Hi Nic, you did ask and i answered a few post back with detailed steps:
Hi Nic
So this is windows 7 64 bit
i3-3225 with hd4000
using windows media centre to play the mp4 black level video from the AVS forum.
WMC rgb output level can be controlled by this key:
This will set your nominal rante to 0-255 (PC levels) essentially doing "expanded blacks" use this with a typical PC monitor calibrated for blacks==0.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Debug\ehPresenter.dll]
"NominalRange"=dword:1
"NominalRange"=dword:2 will be 16-235.
My display is a panasonic vt65 (ukVt60) with hdmi rgb set to 0-255 (full)
connected via hdmi
GPU settings is quantization range is set to Full. (this setting works just fine btw)
Under video settings i set the InPut range to Application settings
I play the black clipping mp4 and see black is a bit clipped.
At this point i add the nominal range key and start to toggle between 1 and 2.
My expectation is that since i'm controlling the application settings i should see some change in the clip being show. (i've restarted the computer after applying the regkey too)
the actual result is that theres no change.
I do see a change when i change the driver video input rane from application to driver, set it to 0-255 then set it back to application settings, then hit apply.
playing back the move is now different.
and toggling the regkey still makes no change.
extra piece of info: only windows media center and Windows media player are affected. Total media theatre 6 behaves as expected,

Hi again,
today the new stable AMD Catalyst driver .13.12 has become available. It is relevant also for my graphic card (AMD HD 6450). So far the combination of the Intel driver 3345 and the new stable Catalyst has been working OK both when the Intel graphics is set to primary and when the AMD card is set to primary (the motherboard Intel DZ77GA-70K, the processor Intel 3770K). .
However, I must warn that the installation of the driver was not completely straightforward. I started with the functioning combination of the Intel driver 3345 and the stable AMD Catalyst 13.9. When uninstalling Catalyst 13.9 and rebooting, the system automatically installed the automatic AMD driver 13.9, which of course caused malfunctioning of the Intel driver 3345. I had to turn off manually the computer and reboot it and change the BIOS option from the Intel graphics as primary to the AMD graphics as primary. However, manually rebooting the system ruined one of the installed Intel Raid disks (Raid 1), which started the verification process. On entering the OS on the AMD monitor, the Intel driver was still malfunctioning. Then I installed the Catalyst 13.12 and rebooted the system. The combination of both drivers then worked OK and I rebooted again just to be sure. The combination of the two drivers still worked OK. As I wanted to change the BIOS option to the Intel graphics as primary, I rebooted again and changed the BIOS option. However, after the computer had rebooted, during the post phase the Intel IRST reported that another of the Intel Raid disks (the system Raid 0) failed. so I could not get to into the OS. I became a little worried, but fortunately the things returned to normal, after I reentered the BIOS and adjusted the boot sequence of the disks, which changed in the previous step. This time after rebooting. the IRST fortunately did not report a failed system Raid 0 during the post, so I could get into the OS. Both graphic drivers worked OK, only the Raid 1 disk was in the verification phase, which successfully finished and, in fact, found no errors on the disk. Since then the system has been working OK.
Nevertheless, I intend to further monitor the stability of the combination of the Intel 3345 and the new stable Catalyst driver as the combination of the Intel driver 3345 and the previous stable Catalyst (13.9) also initially worked OK, but was later not, as reported, completely stable.

Hi Nic - I have been following this forum for a while. I have an ASUS N550VJ. Featuring an intel 4600 and a Nvidia 750m. I have the issue with the Nvidia card showing code43. I tried all combinations of intel drivers and Nvidia drivers, and have tried all Bios' released by Asus. At no point since installing windows 8.1 have I been able to use the Nvidia card as it always reports code43. I have tried downgrading the bios as suggested by ChodeNode - still no luck.
Asus have been very unhelpful with this issue.
Any help on resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

@nic , Netflix users: I have switched to a Radeon GPU (passive cooled Saphire HD 5450) and Netflix with DD 5.1 works fine. Since multiple users with different system configurations have the same issues with the HD4XXX series i can only conclude that this is indeed a problem of the Intel hardware or drivers and not the AVR.
@nic Did you have any chance to test Netflix with a HD4XXX GPU?

@sh83 and nic: I have now downgraded to Windows 8.0 (i.e. done a clean install) and Netflix is running fine with DD 5.1 sound on my HD5000 chipset with the 3379 driver. I plan to stick with Windows 8.0 until this issue is resolved (either on Intel, Netflix or Microsoft side depending where the root cause is).

Hello again.
I want to add one more minor thing but important for someone who wants to find info about Pentium G3000 series (Haswell) core and supported driver capabilities.
At your release notes of latest driver 3345 here: http://downloadmirror.intel.com/23405/eng/ReleaseNotes_GFX_3345_64_2.pdf http://downloadmirror.intel.com/23405/eng/ReleaseNotes_GFX_3345_64_2.pdf
you say that Pentium G3000 series DO NOT support OpenCL and Intel Clear Video HD which are both obviously wrong.
My Pentium G3420 supports OpenCL 1.2 and Intel Clear Video QuickSync decoding under Win 8.1.
Also, your PDF describing Pentium/ Celeron Intel HD graphics capabilities is outdated (last generation described is 3rd) here: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/intel-hd-graphics-and-intel-graphics-media-accelerator/pentium-celeron-graphics-guide.html Intel® HD Graphics for Pentium® and Celeron® Processors: Guide
thanks!

Nikos

Hi,
Yest two days ago, same driver issue happens to with new ASUS Z87 PRO mainboard and new CPU i5 4570 (1150).
I connected PC with DVI-D (single link) to not that old monitor SAMSUNG XL2270HD.
With clean install both Windows 7 x64 (professional and enterprise) generic windows driver work perfect with dvi connection.
After installing MEI and chipset drivers, restart in both cases, start installing graphical Intel HD 4600 driver
_ v9.18.10.3186Connection was still on DVI-D (single link). After restart, only thing that I was able to see is Windows post boot screen. Picture was gone when entering Windows.
Connect VGA cable, and have what to see, Windows log on.
I have try all driver version there is, 10.18.10.3262, 10.18.10.3304,9.18.10.3234, but nothing works for me.
Now I install latest version 15.33.8.64.3345 (10.18.10.3345), but issue is still present.
Interesting to observe is that I have tried DVI-D (dual link), still no progress.
Also, when you apply new driver (any version) and go to restart, picture automatically switch to VGA (like it is default), and there is no DVI or Display port available for monitor or for extend or duplicate monitors.
BUT
When you override installation of graphical driver (same version to previous installation before restart) connectors DVI and DP start working (no restart), and you can switch to those. (Same workaround as disable or enable in device manager)
The soon as you go for restart, DVI, DP, and HDMI are goes dead.
I hope intel can wrom this came up wih solution for solving driver problem.
Best regard to you all
Sorry for bad English.
p.s. I will send dxdiag, as soon as I will get home.
Cheers

Hi Nic,
Since I have upgraded to Windows 8.1 I started to experience freezes every time I run the PC. The freeze happens in some idle time (I haven't measured it). After such freeze a normal restart does not help. A workaround is to restart in Safe Mode and to replace the display driver with the Microsoft Basic Display Driver. I have downloaded and installed the recommended by Intel driver (to no avail).
CPU: G1610
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center, 64bit
Graphics: Single GPU integrated in G1610
Display Driver: Intel(R) HD Graphics 10.18.10.3345
Chipset: H61
Your help will be appreciated.

Hi,
I can confirm that the Netflix-issue is caused by the Intel Display Audio Driver. After removing it I can view Netflix normaly with Dolby Digital Plus.
I have noticed that if I get the same problem if I use DirectSound in XBMC instead of WASAPI.
It seems like there is some issue between the Intel Display Audio Driver and the DirectSound service.
Most irritating problem is that I cannot watch my movies with DTS-HD or TrueHD until this issue has been resolved and the driver is functioning properly.
Fix if you don't need DTS-HD, TrueHD codecs:
I take no responsibility for this - but it should remove the "Display Audio Driver" only and keep the driver for the graphics card.
Open Control Panel
Open Device Manager
Expand "Sound, Video and Game controllers"
Right-click on "Intel(R) Display Audio" and choose "Uninstall". Do not check "Remove software" when propmpted as this may uninstall the whole Intel Graphics Suite!

BUG: Hi, Nic. I write to inform you that I continue to experience the freezes I've /message/217208# 217208 described earlier after a clean install of Windows 8.1. It is very frustrating as this is not a second display and it is neither about watching movies or playing games.

Hi everyone,
As promised, responses for everyone! Happy New Year to everyone as well .
@sh83: I literally just finished testing this on an HD 4000 system (Asus* UX32VD). Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce your issue though. Just like with the HD 5200, I was able to play Dolby 5.1 and Stereo without issue, using both the AV/R and not using the AV/R. Also, I tested on 3316, 3345 and 3379 - all worked fine. At this point I have not been able to reproduce the issue with either a 3rd gen or 4th gen system, using all of our latest drivers, and the Netflix* app. Aside from updating the firmware on the receiver, verifying that you are using known good HDMI cables, and making sure your BIOS and graphics drivers are up to date - I cannot advise a specific solution. I cannot fix what I cannot see .
@NikosD: Thanks for the report I've sent the feedback on the Pentium/Celeron document to the right folks, and see if we can't get that corrected. Sorry that the gpudip* software does not run on our graphics :\, glad there is an appropriate reason for it though!
@italose: This is not the appropriate thread for reports on GMA 3600. Additionally, there is no Windows* 8 or Windows* 8.1 support for GMA 3600. Please refer to one of the many GMA 3600 threads on the Graphics Communities for reporting issues with that product.
@vkamenen: Can you tell me what the make/model is of your motherboard?
@Gosa: Please attach a copy of your dxdiag.
@brian botkiller: I will check and see if I can get a status update on this. The last I heard though, IIRC - it was not looking like the fix would be provided soon.
@RobbieT: Please see my response to sh83.
@Bokefas/Apuleio/Ron32: Thanks for the report. We have not been getting very far working with AMD* or NVidia* recently. I will let you all know when we hear something promising.
@Gil.Goldshlager: If you are being prompted for driver 3379, feel free to install it. We are working to get it released on our end as well (at which point I will start a new 3379 feedback thread and continue where we left off here).
@imarmed: Please also refer to my answer to sh83.
@TuNyugenTrung: Can you attach a copy of your dxdiag please?
@d97ulf: Please also refer to my answer to sh83.
@LEVYNECESITO!: Have you checked Windows* Update to see if 3379 is available for your system? We are working to release it here, but that is currently the only way to get the latest driver after 3345.
@MarcusSjogren: In the dxdiag you linked, it does not show the Intel® display audio driver being installed. Are you saying that with your system running the configuration you linked, that it is or is not working?
@Nerkoon: I'm glad to hear that you resolved your issue. I've explained a few different times in this thread, the issues we are facing when installing drivers on a Windows* 8.1 system that has a 3rd party (AMD* or NVidia* card) installed as well. I would suggest reading those sections for the answer you seek.
@kldoc: Please attach a copy of your dxdiag.
@MERKIN: Can you verify that you have the latest NVidia* graphics driver also installed on your system? According to the product support site for your system, it should have a 3rd party graphics card installed as well.
@vsslo: Thank you for the update. We are still trying to resolve the Code 31 and Code 43 issues, but as of late - the 3rd party card companies are not communicating reliably with us. It makes the whole process take longer though.
@vpz: 3379 will soon™ be released on the Intel website. We are held up by red tape that is keeping it from being posted though. You probably can not find the driver on Windows* Update because your OEM did not grab/release it for your product (yet?).
@Yups: Thank you for the update. I just got confirmation from our OpenGL* expert on the same situation just yesterday.
Thanks everyone,
-Nic

Hi Nic,
Please arrange a NUC and keep trying with Netflix. (Since it is an Intel device it should not be that hard to get one for you)
At AnandTech in the Intel NUC review they have the same issues:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/7566/intels-haswell-nuc-d54250wyk-ucff-pc-review/4 AnandTech | Intel&# 39;s Haswell NUC: D54250WYK UCFF PC Review
If you still cannot reproduce, please let me know if I can provide you with a log or run a test which provides you with the information you need.
This issue is unsolved much too long.
