Hello storaid,
Thank you for posting on the Intel
To have a better understanding of the situation, and provide you with an accurate response, please answer the following questions:
- What is the graphics card model? In case it is an Intel® Arc™, is it an Intel Branded Card or is it of another brand?

Hello storaid,
Thank you for your response and for providing all that information.
Just for you to know, there is already a request to add support for DisplayPort connections as well in future versions, so I can let you know that we are working really hard on it.
At this moment, if your system supports deep color settings are available with Intel® Graphics Command Center (BETA) (seems you do not have the BETA version installed) for native HDMI connections and eDP (embedded DisplayPort).
You can visit the article How Do I Set Color Depth or Color Format in the Intel® Graphics Command Center? for more information.
Let me know the results.

I don't have any HDMI or eDP ports connected.
just use Displayport 1.4...
So, this BETA is useless...
No "Color bit depth" setting is shown....

Hello storaid,
Thank you for your answer and for letting me know the results.
The reason why you aren't able to change the color depth is because you are using Displayport 1.4, remember that you must use a native HDMI port or eDP if you use another type of port you will not be able to change this setting.
If you are not able to use an HDMI or eDP port, also remember that there is already a request to add support for DP connections as well in future versions.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Regards,
Andres P.
