I recently installed your new drivers with bios update, now i cannot play any games, it freezes up when installing new shaders. Loading webpages takes 7 seconds to load everything on the page like days of dial up. I tried uninstalling the drivers and falling back to the previous WHQL drivers but the problem persists. I fear the vbios update messed something up and now I can't even go back to older drivers to rectify the issue. Even clicking on the start menu takes a second or two to pop up. System was running perfectly fine before then. Is there a way to go back to the older vbios version?

I have same problem after updating firmware(Arc A750). Frame rate drop ans stuttering. Rolling back to the previous driver didn't help. I think it's a firmware issue.

I agree it's definitely the firmware, i can't even do anything at the moment. Computer is essentially useless, i can barely load webpages to watch a video. I hope this gets a fix soon, or at least a way to roll back to the previous firmware.

It's the firmware. It's messed up my video editing flow and it can't be rolled back like a driver.

Hello everyone,
Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We understand that you are experiencing problems after installing the latest driver with the new Firmware (VBIOS) update, and we would be more than glad to help you.
Unfortunately, there is no option to roll back the firmware update. However, to better understand your issue, please provide us with the following:
- What are the affected applications (games and other software)?
- Was the firmware update interrupted at some point?
- We would like to gather more information about your system, this would help us check if the system is up to date and check further details. Please create a system report using the following tools:
Intel® System Support Utility (Intel
- Open the application and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel
SSU will take you to the "Summary View." - Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."
- To save your scan: click "Next"; then "Save."
Intel® Graphics Command Center:
- Open the Intel Graphics Command Center
- Navigate to the Support tab
- Select System Diagnostic
- Click Generate Report
- Select Save and name the output file.
However, we recommend you open your own thread for more personalized support.

Firmware can be overwritten again. You can make a bundle just like you did with this driver and put the old firmware in it.
Whole system is affected, everything.
Firmware was not interrupted.
This is my thread.
I haven't been able to use my computer for a couple days now, are you telling me i just have to wait for some fix in the future? I can't bide my time just waiting when i have things to do, both work and leisure. This is unacceptable, i stuck with this card for months, all the stutters and drivers. finally your latest whql driver was working beautifully, when i saw the new firmware update i had faith in improvements but it took a 180 the other way.

This seems to be isolated, some A750s didn't encounter any problems.
I have the ASRock one and it's fine:
I also noticed slightly lower power consumption on load (155-170W vs 170-190W)

Hello Steve771,
To further look into this problem, we would like to confirm the following information:
- Based on the Intel SSU report, we noticed that the BIOS version reported is the A.A0 (7D25v1A). There is a newer version of the BIOS, version 7D25v1D. We recommend you update the BIOS to the latest version available. If you need additional instructions about the BIOS update process, you should consult MSI for more information.
- After updating the BIOS, please make sure that the Rezisable BAR option is enabled. Sometimes after updating the BIOS, this feature is disabled.
Best regards,
Jean O.
