Hello Bandit8623,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For me to further check this, please help provide the following details:

  1. What is the model of your Graphics controller?
  2. Can you tell us more why do you need this feature?

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hi,

Its not a needed feature but a good option that would also sell your product.  im old enough to remember how a crt display was so smooth.   most today dont know as they are younger generation, but black frame insertion comes close,  but still does not match the clarity that this offers.  also black frame insertion also requires a compatible monitor. this would work with any monitor and tech as long as added to software/drivers.   BFI also reduces brights a bunch.  this option reduces much less.

this is open source as well so its not an added cost there for you.

If intel could add this to the driver stack it would benefit gamers, movie watchers,  and your hardware sales as well!

Thanks for taking a look
