I bought an Intel Arc A580. I use After effects 2024 , but my GPU doesn't work when I'm editing videos. CPU working in %100 power either in timeline playing video or exporting video. GPU doesn't wants to involve to the process. Getting very poor performance when using after effects. The exporting time is very disappointing .

GPU driver version :  32.0.101.6083 (latest)

Pc Specification :

  •  Core i5 12400
  • 16GB RAM
  • MSI PRO H610M-G
  • Gunnir Arc A580

Please take note that I will check on it as well so I can provide you the appropriate recommendation.

Hello Tonmoy_Das,

Thank you for patiently waiting on my response.

Here is the step-by-step tutorial on how to enable GPU encoding within after Premier or aftereffects.

Please see the links below:

  1. GPU Accelerated Rendering and Hardware Encoding (adobe.com)
  2. Effects and animation presets in After Effects (adobe.com)

And as for this enquiry:

"And can you tell me how I can use the AV1 format for rendering in After Effects/Premiere Pro and other video editing software?"

Technically speaking, AV1 is not supported yet by After Effects and Premier, as listed on their official website: Supported file formats in After Effects (adobe.com), it would be best if you would contact Adobe for AV1 enquiries regarding their software.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Best regards,
