Variable refresh rate support

Will there ever be VRR support via HDMI 1.4? There are lots of cheap 1080p IPS VRR 100-120Hz monitors, but you cant use them with Intel GPU.

Hello Matyugovich,

 

Thank you for sharing this details and I would like to apologize for the delay in my response. Upon checking this specifications, I can confirm that HDMI 1.4 does not support Variable Refresh Rate. In order to use the VRR, the HDMI input display must be a  2.1 standard and should also support VESA Adaptive Sync .
