Hello Timsir527,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
Kindly be informed that enabling Smart Access Memory or Resizable BAR allows you to fully optimize the utilization of your Intel Arc A750 graphics. In your case, as you have experienced a dropped in FPS and GPU utilization when you enabled it, please provide the following information so we could investigate your issue further.
- Is it normally working before even if Smart Access Memory is enabled?
- How did you enable Smart Access Memory?
- When did you first notice this issue?
- Is this a newly integrated system?
- Any software or hardware changes made before this issue happened?
- What are the steps taken to troubleshoot the issue?
- Please provide the SSU logs so we could have a thorough look at your system. You can follow the instructions indicated on this article, How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows* and attach the txt file here.

Yes, it worked normally before I turned on Smart Access Memory, and other games will get performance improvements after turning on Smart Access Memory. I turned on Smart Access Memory through bios. I discovered this problem probably in May last year. Yes, I updated the driver, and I also tried overclocking my CPU and increasing the memory from 16g to 32g, but it didn't improve the problem. Then I don't quite understand what an integrated system is.

Hello Timsir527,
Thank you for your response.
Since you mentioned that other games have improvements when you turned on the smart memory access, may we know the name of the games that has improvement and those that does not have any?
Also, you mentioned that the GPU utilization is at 50-60 could you kindly provide the screenshot showing the GPU utilization when you play games?
Looking forward to your response.

The game whose usage rate is not increasing is Apex, and then most games have improved. Some games will even be very laggy if the resizable bar is not enabled (CS2 and the like). This is a video I recorded.

My driver is already up to date, and I use DX12 mode to play apex. I wonder if it is related to the usage problem? Every time I switch back to DX11, it will be very laggy (cpu usage 100%)

Hello Timsir527,
I appreciate your response. I understand that your drivers are up to date hence, for us to ensure that it is working well on your PC, kindly try to do a clean installation of your drivers using a DDU and reinstall the latest driver. Afterwards test if the same issue happens.
Also, please indicate the previous driver versions you used on your system so we could record it accordingly.
Furthermore, switching different versions of API may also be the cause of the lagging issue however, we need the information above to further investigate and provide you with an accurate recommendation.
We hope this helps and waiting for your reply.

Hello Timsir527,
Your issue has been checked with our engineers and for us to investigate this further, we seek additional information from you so we could replicate it on our end and find the best possible resolution.
Please provide the exact and detailed steps you took to reproduce the issue on both versions. Most especially to the game version that has the DX12 API as we have verified that DX12 is still in the beta version for Apex legends and the default API is DX11. Kindly indicate how did you enabled the game API on both versions mentioned as well.
In addition, we have tried to initially replicate the issue with our Arc A750 using DX11 and these are the results.
1. Rebar On - 190 fps
2. Rebar Off - 145 fps
As expected, the performance is higher with Rebar On than when it is turned off. As we wait for your reply, please be informed that we will require more time to investigate this matter. Hoping for your kind understanding.

I tried to adjust my api back to dx11 and enable rebar, but there was no improvement, and the cpu often ran to 90% and caused lag (this problem did not occur in dx12)
