Regarding GPU Accelerated MCU

Hi Chunbo,

We have configured GPU accelerated MCU server, below is the configuration used

OS: CentOS Linux release 7.1.1503 (Core) | Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790S CPU @ 3.20GHz | 8 GB RAM| Intel HD Graphics 4600|

we have installed Intel Media server studio community edition and installed MCU server with hardware accelerated as per the document

How can we check whether media server studio is actually working or not ? i have checked metrics_monitor but there is no such render process is going on

How exactly GPU accelerated MCU will work? does it going to take load on GPU or it is for better performance?

what steps we have to follow to make use of GPU accelerated MCU

Thanks

Naresh

Hi Naresh,

Please run the command "VAINFO" to check the installation and configuration of MSDK on CentOS.

Thanks!

Hi Naresh,

Try the utility of intel__gpu_top. You will find the useful GPU runtime information there.

Thanks!
