Classic DDR SDRAM for Cyclone ii does not work with QSYS

Good day. I'm currently doing an image processing project in a DE2 board that requires us to use a RAM. Unfortunately, QSYS does not recognize the DDR_SDRAM classic but sad to say, it is the only compatible SDRAM for Cyclone ii. Can anyone suggest what we can do to resolve this problem? Thanks in advance

Hi,

do you want to use external RAM or on-chip RAM? Are you able to use on-chip?

Furthermore, have you read the documents of that DE2 board like

There are instructions how to use the SDRAM as well as internal on-chip RAM. That should help you getting your project running.
