App missing key

How can I get the missing key from the INTEL UNITE HUB just downloaded and installed .

In order to better assist you, please provide the following: 

 

  1. What is the Intel Unite® version that you are using? 
  2. How is the configuration that you are using? Do you have your server and hub configured already? 
  3. How many systems do you have? Please provide the brand and model number of the systems that you have connected.  
  4. Did you follow the correct deployment guide depending on the version that you are using? https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000008523/software/software-applications.ht...  
  5. Please provide a screenshot of the missing key error message.

Can you please specify what do you mean by "no server right now", does it mean that the server is not configured yet? 

 

Please be aware that for Unite version 4.x you must have your own server (on-premises) or a cloud service. The server is needed for PIN services as you can see here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/unite/cloud-collaboration.html, please scroll down and see the image that compares on-premises and cloud collaboration. 

 

Make sure that you have followed all the requirements and configuration steps in the deployment guide: 

 

 

If you have made sure that your server is correctly configured, please follow these steps for the error that you are having: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000031167/software/software-applications.ht...   

 

Please access the link for a detailed step by step fix.

Thank you for your update. 

 

I would like to clarify that Intel Unite does not support Azure* or any other 3rd party cloud services. Since a Server is required to deploy Intel Unite version 4.x you would need to deploy (install, configure and manage) your own on-premises Server. 

  

However, if you are interested in deploying Intel Unite version 4.x to take advantage of all its features without the need to own, manage, or maintain a PIN server, you can try the new Intel Unite Cloud Service. With the new Intel Unite Cloud Service, the managed PIN service is provided by Intel. I did register and configure the Intel cloud. I uninstalled the old v3.1 client and installed the v4.2 client. Now am getting the system can't setup the app. How can I setup the app. See the attached capture.

Thanks for the update. 

 

You mentioned that you configured the Intel cloud, does it mean that you already have access to the admin portal already? Additionally, please provide the following: 

 

  1. Is this error message shown in the clients or in the hubs?  
  2. If it is with the clients, did you try provisioning them already? Remember to follow these steps: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000031167/software/software-applications.ht...  
  3. I will highly recommend you to read and follow the deployment guide from beginning to end to see if you are missing any steps, please review this guide here: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/software/software-applications/IntelUniteC...

I would like to have more details about this behavior, can you please provide the steps you are following and where exactly do you receive this error message? Is the error on the clients, hubs, or both?  

 

Please provide a step by step video of what you follow and that would be great, you can upload the video using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach option or use a platform like YouTube* and provide a link.
