Hi,
Has anyone else experienced system hang's > 5 minutes when using the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24075/Intel-Extreme-Tuning-Utility-Intel-XTU- XTU?
I've not used it in a while and not sure when it stopped working properly.
I've tested it for varying lengths of system hang-time - where no peripherals respond, but I have lights and display output and the utility doesn't change from the initial grey background with white type.
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 15 minutes
- 20 minutes
SSU attached.

Hello MikeLevine,
Thank you posting again in our Intel Communities®
I understand that you are experiencing issues with Intel® Extreme TUNING (Intel® XTU)
May we know how are you/why are you using Intel® XTU?
Are you looking to accomplish something in specific? (Check temperatures, over-clocking)
I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Diego,
I was checking it out to monitor the system and possibly do some overclocking.
I've had the tool installed since May and it has worked flawlessly. I've since uninstalled and re-installed and the XTU (date of post) crashes (freezes) my system requiring powering off the unit.
