fw update utility will not boot

the latest version of toolbox is telling me my FW is out of data.

I have tried the fw update utility, made both a USB and a CD boot device. Both hang when booting.

tried making the usb with the rufus as well as the usb boot manager that intel suggest. Both failed, so I guess bad ISO?

Does anybody have a way to update SSD firmware that works?

• What is the SSD model you have?
• What's the firmware version you would like to update to?
• Have you tried setting the BIOS boot mode in "Legacy Mode"?
