I have this Device EP2C20F484C7, of family Cyclone II.

If I use Quartus Lite 20.1.1, which Device family shall I download?

I couldn't see Cyclone II from this page: https://fpgasoftware.intel.com/20.1.1/?edition=lite&platform=windows

Cyclone II hasn't been supported since version 13.0:

Thank you for your reply.

Is that mean I must download version 13.0 in order to use the Cyclone II?

Any reason that you want to use the old device? Our suggestion is always use the latest device with the latest version of Quartus.

Sorry for the late reply.

In our lab, we only have the old device. This is for the undergraduate program in university. May I know if you can recommend any new device at a reasonable cost for our undergraduate student to use?

Can you email me at chowls@ucsiuniversity.edu.my ?

For university, we have offer a better program for the student to learn.

You may take a look in https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/topics/fpga-academic.html -> remote education.

You may also take a look in

You may also email them with fpgauniversity@intel.com

Let us know if you still want to stick on old device for learning? We don't really recommend it anyway.
