I have downloaded a valide license but still not able to run simulation

In my case, ModelSim was not installed (It does not get installed automatically with Quartus 21.1 as it does with older versions). After installing it manually and setting the path in Quartus, the problem disappeared.

I've tried looking for the modelsim installer but I can't find it anywhere. Could you help me here?

You can download Modelsim from:

https://fpgasoftware.intel.com/20.1.1/?edition=lite&platform=windows

After installation, you can set the Modelsim path in Quartus (Tools -> Options -> General -> EDA Tools Options).
