Modular SGDMA

Hi, everyone! I am planning to use Modular Scatter-Gather DMA in streaming to memory-mapped mode. What happens if descriptor requests specific data size, but input FIFO does not have enough data? Will descriptor processing be paused? Or will DMA return less data than was requested?
