Weird instantiation problem

Hi,

I have downloaded a floating point unit from opencores but when I try to use it as a component in a larger system it has problems. When I compile, run and test the package as its own component it works, but when I try to instantiate it as a component in a larger system tests show nothing on its output (it compiles correctly).

I have added the fpu files as an attachment.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong here? Any feedback is appreciated.:)

Altera already provide floating point components. Having a quick glance over the code you provided, I would recommened you use the altera ones instead.

As to your origional problem I cant help, because I have no idea what the problem with your code is, because you havent posted anything to do with your code.
