alias of pin assignment

I have a pin_assign.csv file.

Unfortunately, the pins name in the pin_assign.csv file are too complex.

Can I set some alias or some command in the pin_assign.csv file?

Thank you very much.

Hi KF Cc,

I did not read you question properly.

Assuming I understand it correctly, I don't think yes because Quartus will use the exact pin names according to the csv when you import it. Assigning an alias will lead to unknown pin assignment as Quartus not able to detect it.

KF C,

Are you referring to what command function?

You can use a assignment to import assignment of the csv file list of your pins

Hi SyafieqS

Thank you, SyafieqS, very much. Sorry that I forgot this questions.

What is command function?

I use the CSV file imported method to assign pin location like following picture. Does there have command function?

Hi SyafieqS

    Thank you, SyafieqS, very much.

I want to add alias into CSV file because the pad name is too complex.

From your answer, this requirement can't be met.

I get it.

Thank you very much.
