Hi,
I know there's power up trigger feature in signaltap II, but can it be done in the off -> on transition? Meaning, the board is off, signaltap is waiting for trigger, then I power up the board and the signatap catches the signals. Thx.Link Copied

Yes, I've used this feature before (to capture PCIe power-up waveforms).
Its called a power-up trigger ... http://quartushelp.altera.com/13.0/mergedprojects/program/ela/ela_pro_setup.htm It cannot be used to capture just any power-up signal, eg., the FPGA first has to be configured, and then the SignalTap II logic will wait for the trigger condition. Think of this as a "power-up trigger enable" feature, rather than a "capture power-on waveforms" feature.
