For every interface You'll need external chip. Either it is RS232/422/485 (You'll need level shifter) or USB/LAN/CAN... I think all of the devices would fit, which are around 50-70k of LEs. Do a design on a preferred device and check if it fits. I would say try on EP3C55 firstly.

Thank you!
Pls. correct me if my understanding is not right, the suggested solution says that perhabs, Alters IPs (if not available) / 3rd party IPs for UART, USB and CAN to be instantiated as many times they need and have the level translators & Phys on board. right? Could some suggest if there is any referrence board all ready available with all/some of the level translators to support development platform like the above, meaning that provides all the different level translators(RS232,RS422,RS485) and PHYs for the (Ethernet, USB and for CAN (I am not sure what kind of Tranceivers needed)....Thank you for the quick response !- Mark as New

I doubt. That's a very specific need. I would offer to check Industrial Networking Kit from terasic.com.tw, which has a pretty big FPGA. That kit has two gbit ethernet interfaces, RS232 and RS485 support, also CAN support and VGA, so more or less everything You need. All additional hardware can be connected using HSMC addon boards.
